@mitcheley says “Traverse City! The peninsulas are gorgeous, the wine is delicious and so many things to do.” I agree! The Grand Traverse Bay is one of the most beautiful bays out there. There are also many wineries along the hills that face the bay. It’s so beautiful and you have to check it out.
@bell1939 says “so many…Calumet or more specifically, McClain State Park. Keewenaw Peninsula, Sault Ste Marie and more specifically Aune Osborne campground.” Now the reason why I chose this one is because I’ve been to none of these places (*Michigan gasp). I’ve heard of Sault Ste Marie the most so I’ll probably start my journey there.
@michaeleprather said “Copper Harbor Michigan where I proposed to my fiancé last year. No better views of Lake Superior.” I thought Copper Harbor was a very important spot to mention because it’s also one of the best cities in Michigan to watch the “aurora lights” during the Winter. It’s way up at the top of Michigan.
